The Crop science society Ethiopia (CSSE) is a non-profit professional association established in 1987 , and inaugurated as a legally registered society in December 1991.

The overall goal of the society is to promote sustainable crop production systems and agribusiness and contribute to ensuring food security in Ethiopia by facilitating acquisition , synthesis and exchange of knowledge , skill and experience.
